Horse & Pony Sanctuary
Nestled in the glorious rugged North Cornish Coast, we dedicate our lives to rescuing horses and ponies that have been neglected, abused or no-longer have a place to call home..
After a period of rehabilitation and recovery we then look to find a special loan home for our equines that are suitable to leave the Sanctuary for their new adventures.. We also have permanent residents here at the Sanctuary due to medical issues or if what they have endured has been too damaging for them to ever leave..
Through our website you will see our horses & ponies, past and present, and our work. We have an adoption page 'I Need a Home' dedicated to fellows currently awaiting re-homing along with ways to get involved, volunteer, help us with vital fund-raising and ways to contact us..
We have a number of horses & ponies looking that special home.. Whether you are looking to ride or just a companion to spoil, please take a look at our fellows awaiting their new adventure..Thus allowing us to open our doors to another equine in need of support, it is also very rewarding..

We moved to the North Coast of Cornwall to start a 'quiet' life, enjoying the beautiful beaches, coast paths and moorland locations surrounding us. I am an artist and painting was to be my lifestyle, however after being made aware of the crisis of the Bodmin Moorland ponies, I could not refuse when asked to help..
Having worked with horses all my life I wanted to make a difference for the unforgotten equine so the Sanctuary began..

The Sanctuary was born out of our mutual love and respect for horses.. I am mum to 3 wonderful children so life is busy however I fight for animal rights, live a plant based diet lifestyle. All animals and the environment are very important to me.. We could all make small changes that will make a huge impact for our planet and children's future..
Building the Sanctuary has been a lot of hard work, however getting to spend every day with our fellows, I could not wish for more..
