Visit to the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre
We joined our friends The Cornish Birds of Prey Centre this Sunday the 21st of August to celebrate the opening of their new Indoor Flying Arena.. They had a fun packed day planned with three Falconry Displays, 2 Gun dog Shows, Face Painting, over 70 Craft Stalls, Bouncy Castle, Live music, and Archery. Their Centre was fully open for the day as well, so over 100 birds of prey to see, also their sheep, goats, ponies, parrots, deer and their lovely pigs.
The weather warnings didn't put off a lovely crowd who came to see Will Young open the new indoor flying arena which accommodated 70 crafters, along with Padstow Brewery, Live Music, Face Painting. Definitely a family fun day to be had.. A lovely day was had by all..
We look forward to seeing you there.. www.cornishbirdsofprey.co.uk/

Our boutique shop raising funds from donated items...
Our little Toffee Tofaye settling in with Redford and Ella..
Please excuse that we have not been able to update our website since the beginning of May, we have been so busy with worming, welfare, feeding our little orphan, moving our little grazing herds to wonderful locations, new arrivals like Ella, and Redford who have come to retire with us, opening our little charity shop, building volunteer groups to assist in all aspects of our work, from moorland welfare drifts in association with BMCC and APHA, charity shop volunteers, etc that we just hadn't found the time for updates but now our team is coming into place with much expertise in many directions.. We still need more volunteer help, which is being coordinated by our colleague Julie Shee so if you are interested in joining our team, or making a donation please do get in touch, email, call us, through .. We shall be hoping to have another open day very soon.. Lovely to see our little fellow has settled in..
Where in this wide world can man find nobility without pride,
friendship without envy, or beauty without vanity?
Here where grace is laced with muscle and strength by gentleness confined.
He serves without servility; he has fought without enmity.
There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent;
there is nothing so quick, nothing more patient.
England’s past has been borne on his back.
All our history is in his industry.
We are his heirs;
He is our inheritance.
The strength of these words is as immeasurable as the strength and perseverance of the horse..
